Manifesto:

GS Cicleria strives to promote the practicality and beauty of the vintage lightweight steel bicycle as an elegant mode of transportation in our community. We choose to work with vintage lightweight steel frames for their aesthetics, craftsmanship, and longevity. They are frames with stories and traditions created by two hands with care. We take great pride in working with these creations and strive to breathe new life into each frame -- making every bicycle a special work of art, as well as usable art. We believe the accessories accompanying these bicycles should be just as special, useful and timeless. We value the process of design and the feel of handmade goods from our products to our bicycle.

Gabriel Salcedo - owner and operator:

Gabriel first picked up a wrench as a boy in his father’s bike shop, learning his Dad’s values of hard work, stewardship for community, and a love of Italian bicycles. An imaginative child, Gabriel developed a love for art, design and music at an early age which he continues to cultivate in adulthood. He draws some of his inspiration from architecture, design, film and history and those sources of inspiration are channeled through Gabriel’s creative expressions in photography, illustration and bicycle restoration. He enjoys bikes for the stories behind them, the places they can take you, the people you meet along the way........ the ascents, the descents, the simplicity........the journey.
